xxJPU (Froyo 2.2.1) + Darkyy ROM v5.5 + Voodoo Advanced kernel

Well that's a bloody long title!

I think I've found the perfect Rom for my Samsung Galaxy S (SGS). xxJPU is an advanced Froyo (Android 2.2.1) rom released by Samsung 2 weeks ago. And developers in xda especially DocRambone, Darkyy, jims, lastfuso, raspdeep, hardcore etc have been outstandingly working together to produce this great Rom with beautiful theme and not to mention this powerful kernel originally invented by supercurio and retouched by trasig with overclock feature up to 1.2ghz..

The genius Darkyy has came out with Gingerbread theme. The theme has high graphic animation, but I'm still hunger for more performance (trust me, the stock voodoo kernel already butter-smooth and speedy). But greedy tak rugi hehe

So I replaced the kernel with trasig's Voodoo Advanced v1.1 overclocked to 1.12ghz.. and the result, kabooommmm..!! My SGS flies smoothly. And I can save some battery juice using xan's Voltage Control app with this setup
0, 25, 50, 50, 50, 75

So, give a try on Darkyy's Rom and Voodoo Advanced kernel.. renung2 kan dan selamat flashing!

Nazri aka Uncle Bang-bang

Nazri was here in Dublin from 8th until 14th Dec for his Master convocation at Trinity. He brought his old man and younger brother too.

And of course Affan was the happiest boy to see his Uncle Bang Bang back in action..

But now Nazri dah balik msia. He should started his duty in UiTM yesterday. All the best in your life Nazri @ nae

Semalam bwk affan jln2 kat garden blkg rumah. It was cold so I asked him to put his hand inside the jacket pocket. Dia jatuh tersungkur.. Jatuh muka dulu.. He was bleeding very bad.. His upper lips bengkak sbb luka. Gusi jadi hitam.. I'm very very sad

Affan super-power Special Ability

By the age of 2 years and 4 months, he can:

- count and pronounce 1,2,3 until 15
- if I throw any random picture the number 1 until 10, he can answer them 100% correctly
- pronounce a,b,c until z correctly
- if I throw any random picture the letter A to Z, he can answer 80% correctly
- pronounce alif, ba, ta until ya correctly but he doesn't recognize any tulisan jawi, yet..
- pronounce and recognize Red, Blue, Pink, Yellow, Brown and Green colours
- he can operate and play Wii by himself, including turning the Wii console On/Off, selecting games, change characters etc. His favourite games are Ping Pong and Golf.
- he can operate his mom's iPhone, dad's iPad and Android easily. Not to mention taking pictures (and delete them)
- he is a brilliant 'auta' kid. The ideas to escape and skip from eating, taking bath, basuh berak etc
- kisses and hugs me before he goes to sleep everynight

Snow came early

Well, it never happened since 1985, snow came in November on this year. Some part of northern UK experienced snow showering much earlier and heavier than Dublin. The heaviest snow-downpour in Dublin (until now) was 2 days ago (Sunday).. memang seronok.. Aku jakun tak ingat punya haha.. Kat facebook bersepah member2 letak gmbar snow depan rumah.. However me and family are quite depressed sbb terperuk je dlm rumah.. We have to think twice even nak kluar beli brg groceries. First because of the super teeth-chattering cold, and 2nd is because of the slippery pedestrian lane. There are ice everywhere and we have to be extra careful not to fall and break our arms.

Here are some cloth which I consider compulsory to wear before going out:
- double shirt
- winter jacket
- glove
- snow cap
- neck scarf
- trousers thermal
- and raincover or umbrella if its raining

And we have to put those cloth on Affan too .. so you can imagine how leceh if nak kluar rumah!

Kinect Fitness Your Shape

I downloaded Kinect Fitness demo version. It's not really a game. More to a program for exercising and getting your body fit.. but its the coolest game i've found on kinect... it can measure your height and calculate the program according to your height. The demo has 'Smashing' game only which you punch several cubes across your body.. It's absolutely fun and I guarantee you can loose your weight without notice

Have a try! And of course, get a Kinect first! Hehe

Axura Beta 2

Last night I flashed my SGS to Axura Rom. The beta 2 supposed to resolve gps bug apparently its still there. Axura is ported from Samsung Vibrant, a slightly different model from SGS. The rom is super great but gps bug is a major problem for me. My favourite rom is Spike but currently i'm using Insanity 0.95 which is very light. And I flashed raspdeep's 1.2ghz OC kernel without problem.. for the record i got 2220 result using Quadrant. Not bad at all

HTC HD7 Windows Phone 7

I just came back from O2 store henry st.. just to play around with the newly launched Windows Phone 7... My last device for windows is the HTC Touch Pro 2, powered by Windows Mobile 6.5.. since then i lost hope on microsoft smartphone products.. but WP7 has proved me wrong.. This is a must have device! Its smoothness is just like iphone. The only problem i can see is the variaty of apps since it doesnt use .cab file to install apps like WM6 used to be

But wait till samsung omnia WP7 arrives here, bcoz htc screen n camera absolutely cant beat samsung's..

However i'm not gonna buy them. Too many phones to hold lol (really?).. And sorry for the poor photo quality.. everything was not right, the lighting, shaking, etc.. *duh*

Look who is enjoying jumping!

Izwan singgah to my house for solat maghrib after shopping at Jervis and other places (1km radius).. So boleh la bagi dia try the new kinect.. He didnt know i bought it but of course sure kantoi jugak la kan? Hehe... Mana tak nya, sensor besar gedabak ternganga depan tv .. So he was the 1st person to try it out... I bet he sweat hehe





















Then came saiful n raja.. I told JL about my kinect the day i bought it, just in case if asyraf wants to try. But it seems like they dont have time yet.. My house is wide open for anyone who wants to give a try.. JL and Raja pics look more crazier, dont you think? Hehehe saiful siap terkangkang.. Lompat macam goalkeeper pon ada haha!

synchronizing wmc

just discovered xbox can play media files on PC too. as long both devices are set up to windows media center, you are good to go. A router is required to make this happen

xbox 360 slim kinect

Finally xbox with kinect in da house! Bought it at hmv for €350 after came back from driving range with 6j6... It comes with 1 free kinect game called Kinect Adventure.. And i entitled to buy Fifa11 for €15 instead of €45.. the funny is, my wife didnt know i bought it until she woke up from her nap.. just wanted to make a surprise but she've experienced this kinda surprise quite many times :P

Well it's an xbox 360 slim with 250gb storage. I've been looking for a pre-owned unit but the price for the console was 220.. and the kinect itself is 150.. so you can do your own calculation which one is worth it :)

I'll be back later. Setting up the kinect gonna take some time

hari raya aidiladha

we celelebrated eiduladha 1 day earlier than msia.. and i went to msia hall for the solat sunat. and light breakfast was served by the embassy officers.. i was little bit trauma.. takut insiden jamuan hari raya puasa dulu berulang kembali heh.. but alhamdulillah everything was fine

Google's toys. Only for big boys

I saw this citroen car at the back of my apt. Apparently its google streetview car! All the while I thought google used a bike or cycle to capture images but this car proved me wrong. You can see the camera on the roof but covered with the canvas. And there were city-stickers everywhere. Beside the driver seat, they modified the dashboard and placed a monitor, i guess around 19inch. And a keyboard on the seat..

Cool,eh?

golf!

After a year playing with Wii Golf, finally I went for some real 'menyangkul' with 6j6 at The Ward Driving Range. Its been 2 years I havent been golfing.. Balik rumah je mlm tu sakit urat!! But my shots were not so bad.. Still can hit the ball with the driver ;) thanks to JL for providing the transport, and equipments

- smaller than my ipad
- using useless tft screen which makes my sgs looks more awesome
- but it comes with froyo
- 5mp camera with led flash
- go google the specs on web, coz i just want to share the pic :P

shah is having a baby!

My long best friend, shah, is panic inside, but patient outside. Thats bcoz he's waiting for his baby girl and i'm so happy knowing to be her uncle.. Any moment from now!!

I used to condemn those who have blogs. I thought blogging was for women who need more attention more than their companions haha..

But i was wrong.. Blogging is for sharing your interest.. And the only thing i wanna share is my gadgets and lil bit about my simple life hehe.. But if you are looking for some feeling-sharing blog, you'd better piss off now <-- saying politely
